About me


My name is Cecilia. I am 33 years old and currently live in Athens, Greece.

I was born and lived most of my life in southern Sweden, followed by nine years in New York and recently moved to Greece with my husband and Freddie the dog.

I graduated the Institute of Culinary Education in March 2007, trailed in the Aquavit (NY) kitchen and spent some time in the offices at Food & Wine Magazine. I enjoy cooking, reading and writing about food, culture and travel.

  1. When I was in Santorini (Santo Winery), tasted and bought a bottle of this incredible cinnamon/clove liquor called Tentura. Contacted them to see if I could get more and was told they don’t sell it (seemed puzzled I had bought it from them in the first place.)

    Do you happen to know how Tentura is made? Was thinking that if I can’t get it here, would try my hand at making some of my own.
